Project:  Oahu Structure Database Update & Flood Analysis

A full time senior GIS Analyst position is available with the CCH DPP HoLIS program.  The position is grant-funded in partnership with the Office of Climate Change, Sustainability, and Resiliency (OCCSR). 

The objective of this project is to develop an updated GIS structure database for all of Oahu and complete a flood hazard analysis, using the data to better understand current flood risks and target opportunities for mitigation, especially for high-risk, Repetitive Loss (RL) or Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) properties.  The position will oversee the creation and administration of a project plan; review data requirements; oversee the acquisition and entry of necessary data; coordinate the update of a building structures data model; oversee the flood analysis and data visualization products, and communicate progress and products to FEMA and CCH Administrators.
